Roundup Ready Alfalfa in Pasture at Haskell, OK
Alfagraze 300 RR was planted into thick stands of bermudagrass and tall fescue on September 2006 at the Eastern Research Station.

Views of AlfaGraze 300RR planted in April 2006.  Roundup was sprayed to suppress grass competition just after the alfalfa seedlings began to grow.

Alfalfa was planted fall 2006 and Roundup was applied in strips to suppress or kill bermudagrass, tall fescue, and other grasses.

This AlfaGraze 300RR was 8 months old. The pasture was hayed in late May.  Only the annual grasses that became established since Roundup application in late winter is green.  The grass that was not sprayed was very tall and has not begun to regrow again.  Harvesting was delayed by wet weather.
