Flowers in leaf axils, 5-yellow petals, on long stem with seed forming below the petals. |

Long stem-like, four-ribbed capsule with many small seeds. |
FOUND: |
Commonly found in new fall-planted stands in central and eastern counties. |
CONTROL: |
Small plants control in fall planted alfalfa with BUTYRAC 200 applied in fall or spring. January-February applied SINBAR and VELPAR for control in thinning stands. |
